hey bro I have the same bike, and am looking to put a fox 40 on it too. but the demo 7 has a 1.5 inch steerer tube and the fox 40 comes with a 1 1/8 steerer tube. howd you get that fork on that bike? is there something i'm missing? an adapter? or am I just a dumbass?
